A group of five students from Royal Roads University felt inspired to spark positive change during these challenging times. They recognized the impact that social distancing was having on the mental health of themselves, and many others, and wanted to find a way to help.

Hope in a Card’s mission is to encourage connection and bring joy to the lives of others through delivering hand-painted cards with custom greetings in them. There has never been a better time for us to come together and they hope to use this snail mail initiative as a way for all of us to check in with our loved ones that we are missing a little extra right now.

The handmade acrylic cards were created by our local entrepreneur Melanie Gordon, owner of Melanie Anne Designs.

All proceeds from Hope in a Card are donated to the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.
