Visions’ Impact
For 30 years, funds raised at Visions have gone directly towards purchasing equipment for Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals.
In 2022. Visions raised funds to support the purchase of a new Automated Chemistry Line for the Royal Jubilee Hospital. The current Chemistry Line is the most-piece of equipment in our hospitals and processes over 3 million blood samples and other tests every year; however, it is over 20 years old making it the oldest one in British Columbia. This current line is prone to frequent breakdowns and performs 1,000-1,500 tests each day; the new Automated Chemistry Line performs 1,200 tests every hour. Through the remarkable generosity of our guests, sponsors, and donors, we were able to raise $1.5 million at Visions to help fund this vital piece of equipment. Thanks to their support, thousands of patients from across the Island will benefit every single day.
