GAIN GROUP OF COMPANIES INSPIRES GIVING FOR MEDICAL IMAGING EQUIPMENT AT VICTORIA HOSPITALS WITH A $50,000 DONATION MATCH
The Victoria Hospitals Foundation (VHF) is thankful to the GAIN Group of Companies as it encourages our Island community to end 2023 united for our hospitals. In a strong show of support, GAIN Group is matching all donations up to a total of $50,000 for gifts made to VHF’s campaign, Imaging is Power, by December 31, 2023. The $11 million campaign will fund and upgrade six pieces of vital medical imaging equipment at Royal Jubilee (RJH) and Victoria General (VGH) hospitals.
Launched in October, Imaging is Power is supporting the upgrade of three MRIs between RJH and VGH and the purchase of a new CT Scanner at VGH, a SPECT/CT Scanner at RJH, and a new C-Arm for the Heart Catheterization Lab at RJH. Both hospitals are referral sites for all advanced care on Vancouver Island. Thanks to the gifts of more than 3,200 people, Imaging is Power is at an impressive $5 million of its $11 million goal.
GAIN Group of Companies hopes to inspire other businesses, as well as individuals, to join them in supporting Island healthcare. GAIN Group is a loyal supporter of VHF, notably donating $50,000 on Giving Tuesday in 2022, a donation that purchased a new patient monitor for the Intensive Care Unit at VGH, and supporting VHF’s annual galas through auction and raffle donations.
