Uplands hits $2 million for Heart Health!

Congratulations to the men and women of Uplands Golf Club on a tremendous achievement. The Cardiac Care Unit at Royal Jubilee Hospital is a world class facility, and the golfers and sponsors at Uplands are helping keep it that way. The 2013 Men’s, Women’s and Juniors’ Heart Tournaments raised $140,000 for cardiac rehabilitation equipment, including a Telemetry Monitoring System that allows healthcare professionals to watch over a number of participants simultaneously while they exercise. Over the past 36 years this event has raised an astonishing $2 million — a milestone in generosity and philanthropy.
