Small Comforts Make a Big Difference

A huge thank you to CFAX Santas Anonymous for making a $20,000 donation of activity kits for children in the Emergency Department at Victoria General Hospital. Since 2009, CFAX Santas Anonymous Society has generously provided funds for activities and toys that keep children occupied, happy and at ease while visiting the emergency room.

The toys and activities provide comfort to thousands of sick and injured children during what can be a stressful time in their lives. The activity kits have also proven to be an important tool for our medical teams, who are better able to carry out medical assessments, examinations and procedures when children are calmed or distracted by a toy or activity.

Providing toys and activities to kids can go a long way towards improving their hospital experience. Thank you for your generosity!
