Caring Spirits: Surgical Services
The Surgical Services team at Victoria General Hospital has been recognized with a Caring Spirit award! A retired nurse who underwent surgery last year was very impressed by the outstanding care she received, and by the effort staff made to support her husband and keep him informed throughout the procedure.
The patient decided to honor her doctors and nurses with a Caring Spirit donation towards new Operating Room equipment for Victoria General. Here are some members of the Surgical Services team receiving their Caring Spirit certificate and pins. Well done everyone!

Caregivers are so touched when they are named as Caring Spirits. They will receive recognition from their supervisors and peers, a special Caring Spirit pin and a letter of congratulations that doesn’t disclose the amount of your gift.

Your gift will be used for priority medical equipment that improves care for other patients. Caring Spirit has funded hundreds of important pieces of medical equipment throughout Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals. It’s a wonderful way to support our hospitals and recognize excellent care.
