The Victoria Hospitals Foundation Imaging is Power campaign is another step closer to its $11 million goal today, thanks to a pledge of $75,000 from Canada Life.

Imaging is Power aims to revolutionize vital medical imaging equipment used to diagnose, treat and monitor the health of patients who access our hospitals from right across Vancouver Island.

Donors are helping to replace six vital pieces of medical imaging equipment, including, a new CT Scanner and SPECT/CT scanner. These machines run 24/7 and are an essential component of patient care. The images they provide are vital to the health outcomes of so many patients.

“We know the crucial role of medical imaging equipment in diagnosis and treatment. Canada Life is proud to support Victoria Hospitals Foundation in their efforts to achieve better health outcomes and the highest-quality patient care possible for all British Columbians,” shares Stephanie Halligan, Director, Community Relations with Canada Life.

The Victoria Hospitals Foundation is thankful to Canada Life, and over 5,600 donors who have supported Imaging is Power so far. Canada Life’s generosity will help provide momentum to complete the campaign and raise the final $1 million.
