50/50 Draw: Support our hospitals and have a chance to win big!
You can help support local critical care AND have a chance to win big by purchasing tickets in our first-ever public 50/50 raffle! The more tickets sold, the larger the jackpot grows, and the greater the impact for our hospitals—half the total jackpot goes to the winner and the other half supports our It’s Critical campaign.
The need for increased critical care capacity is more urgent than ever. Through It’s Critical, our community is coming together to raise $7 million to fund the construction of a new permanent, purpose-built 8-bed High Acuity Unit, a first for Island Health. Your ticket purchase will transform healthcare for today’s needs and tomorrow’s challenges.
Tickets can be purchased online at VHF5050.ca and may be sold and purchased only in British Columbia. Purchasers must be 19 years of age or older. Tickets are priced as follows:
- 1 for $10
- 3 for $25
- 10 for $50
- 50 for $200

Ticket sales end at midnight on February 28th, 2021 and the draw will occur on March 2nd, 2021 at 11:00 a.m.
Chances are 1 in 75,000 (total tickets for sale) to win the prize. Actual odds depend on the number of tickets sold. The winning ticket will be drawn using Random Number Generator software and the winner will be contacted by phone by the Victoria Hospitals Foundation.
