She is passionate about the difference our community of donors can make. That difference is personal. April Dorey’s family benefitted from exceptional hospital care at Royal Jubilee Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation program.
“They helped my husband Gerald’s son regain confidence and full activity after a serious heart attack while running the Victoria Marathon,” says April. “And they’ve helped my husband too through extreme sport injuries, six recent cardiac ablations, and multiple cardioversions.”
Why does she give back?
“I have been exceptionally blessed in my life and in my business. I believe in investing my time, money, and talents into communities we serve. It’s part of who I am. Whenever I’ve had challenges in my life there was always someone there either helping or showing me the way forward,” says April.
