The TC10K is an annual Victoria tradition, with thousands of people walking, wheeling, jogging, or running a spectacular, scenic 10KM loop around downtown Victoria and Dallas Road. This year’s race will take place on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
We’re looking for a team of volunteers to help with the Thrifty Foods Family Run! VHF staff and our volunteers will be on site from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in our generously gifted volunteer shirts cheering for participants and ensuring kids find their parents at the finish line.
We are so grateful to once again be a charity partner for the TC10K and since 2014, the TC10K has helped raise over $30,000 for our local hospitals!

- Click “Submit Now.”
- Enter your First Name and Email.
- Fill out the Volunteer Application following the provided steps.
- Read and accept the waiver.
- Provide a digital signature.
- Click “Join the Crew.”
- After joining the crew, you’ll be redirected to the shift sign-up page.
- At the top, enter the password provided for your group. FAMILY
- Submit the password.
- Select your desired shift under the titled section. COURSE | FAMILY RUN COURSE MARSHALS | ZONE 3
- Click “Volunteer NOW!”
Funds raised through the TC10K will support our current Imaging is Power campaign. Between Royal Jubilee and Victoria General hospitals, 500 people receive scheduled scans each day. As the two referral sites for specialized care for all Vancouver Islanders, medical imaging never stops in the hospitals, nor do care teams. Together, we can ensure radiologists and care team members, as well as patients, have access to reliable, state-of-the-art technology. This campaign will upgrade six pieces of priority imaging equipment at Royal Jubilee, and Victoria General hospitals: 3 MRIs, 1 CT, 1 SPECT/CT Nuclear Medicine Scanner and 1 C-Arm.
