Thank You, Rexall Foundation

We recently met with the Rexall Foundation to accept a cheque for $10,000 toward the purchase of four new Pediatric Bronchoscopy Sets for our pediatric operating rooms at Victoria General Hospital. Each of the four sets is specifically designed for infants, toddlers, children, or adolescents. This equipment helps our surgical teams examine and remove foreign bodies or tumours from the patients’ airway. The equipment that will be replaced is 34-years-old and benefited an average of 60 patients a year. The new equipment will help Victoria General Hospital provide exceptional pediatric care to the more than 130,000 children who live in communities across Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
