Thank You VGH Auxiliary

We recently met with the Victoria General Hospital Auxiliary to accept a cheque for $6,686! The VGH Auxiliary is a charitable society of members who run the gift shop and organize various fundraising initiatives for equipment purchases at Victoria General Hospital.

Every winter, these hardworking Auxiliary volunteers organize Poinsettias 4 Patients, a campaign to sell holiday plants in support of urgently needed medical equipment. Since 2013, Poinsettias 4 Patients has raised more than $26,000 for Victoria General Hospital.

This year’s funds will help purchase a new treadmill for the Neurorehabilitation Clinic. Over 200 patients will use this equipment during rehabilitation treatment every year, including patients with neurological and spinal injuries such as brain trauma, stroke, or a spinal cord injury.
